It is a great reading resource yet I wish there were answers provided for the questions.

I have reread the short story The Monkey's Paw. As well, as looking at the comprehension questions which are clear for the student to read. However, I did develop a similar comprehension reading task with questions back in 2007 as an English Teacher on a short term contract for KS3, and I think this humble reading comprehension can be turned in to a master piece as a scheme of work if it was presented again with extra resources for writing, grammar and listening & speaking for KS3 as i have done it myself in the past.
Why not use extracts of this notable 19th century Thriller Chiller to imbibe KS3 Narrative Writing as well as Genre writing
