Thanks for your comment. This resource was really designed to be a quick starter or plenary activity which is why there aren't any additional activities. We've tweaked the resource description now so this is clearer. The Word document is adaptable so people can add extra questions or activities if they want to.

I think this resource is not up to the usual high standards that teachit is known for. Sorry to be so negative, but I went from being excited to seeing a new resource on Holes (which I am teaching at the moment) to disappointment when I opened the file to see what amounts to 3 questions: what are his thoughts and feelings, how does he behave, how do others see him. It would have been much better if that had been the beginning, then maybe a writing frame for a mini-essay. Or some link phrases (this suggests, this emphasizes) to help students extend their points into longer analytical sentences, perhaps.
