Culture crunch project An innovative way to inspire students to read fiction and non-fiction books.
Investigating stories Students investigate a variety of children's stories as part of a preparation or research project. Variety of books required! (Best on A3 paper.)
Independent reading project This booklet guides pupils through an independent reading project. Ideal homework fodder.
Close reading techniques: descriptive writing extracts A focus on close reading and language, using extracts from a range of texts. Useful.
Book response A guide for writing a book review. The original resource is followed by a differentiated version for use with students with SEN.
