Special offer for INOTE members!

Welcome, INOTE members
We hope that you enjoy using your trial login to browse our site.
But first, a little background information. Teachit takes a unique approach to educational publishing. As specialists in teacher-centred resource publishing, we are the front runners in terms of our range of resources, our popularity among teachers, our unusual contributor revenue-share programme and our cutting-edge ICT tools and resources.
Introducing Teachit.co.uk
Teachit is now 10 years old. And what better way to introduce the site than with 10 things to try today?
1. Get adaptable resources
Browse our libraries of freely available classroom materials, all contributed by active teachers and organised by key stage and area. Log in for access to editable versions of these, for customising, personalising, differentiating or accessing via an interactive whiteboard, projector or computer suite – in short, for taking them and making them your own!
2. Get the most from our libraries
Not sure where to begin? Start with our special collections of favourite resources, Teachit trails or Tweakits. We've done the selecting, sorting and sifting so you don't have to.

Teachit membership really is invaluable for every English teacher. We don't have time to re-invent the wheel and having all these resources to tweak and adjust for our classes is fantastic. I'm responsible for KS3 in my department and our membership of Teachit has been the most useful resource we've bought! Annabel Kenzie |

7. Get tips and techniques, or share your own, in the discussion area
Drop into our bustling discussion area for debate, comment and advice on an enormous range of English-related topics.
8. Get beamed up to our satellite sites for blogs, discussions, resources and more
Fairly recent, and very popular, additions to Teachit are specialist areas for particular subjects, like poetry, English and ICT or English Language; or particular groups of teachers, such as Subject Leaders and trainee teachers. Prepare for total immersion!
9. Get contributing
We believe that the best teaching resources are produced by real teachers for real students in real classrooms. We also believe that a teacher's time is precious and hours spent producing materials should be rewarded. So, we offer free Teachit membership plus royalties for your teaching materials. Most importantly, you get the satisfaction of knowing that someone somewhere does not have to spend hours reinventing the wheel and repeating the work you have already done.
