A resource designed for the Edexcel course from 2015, comparing relevant texts with Voices anthology texts. Comparisons are made with Wilde's 'De Profundis' and Angelou's 'Mom & Me & Mom'.

Have you used this resource?

Both texts are useful as unseen texts, but the de Quincey text should be used to practise the new Edexcel A level Paper 2A (not comparative) not the text comparison, as the unseen text for AS Paper 1B and A level Paper 1A is a 20th or 21st century text.

Sorry to have confused you, Michael. The extracts within the resource are the 'unseen' texts (by de Quincey and Gosse) for comparison with the two from the anthology (by Wilde and Angelou).

This resource is not as described, instead a completely different text analysis.
