The presentation of male characters

With this resource students take a closer look at the two key male characters in Jane Eyre: Mr Rochester and St John Rivers. The resource tasks students with analysing and comparing their first meetings and the proposals, as well as providing some key questions/statements about the male characters for students to discuss or answer in an essay style.
