This term our year 11 students will be focusing on non-fiction texts in preparation for their exams. The Bullying leaflet resource will help prepare for both the reading and writing sections of the Language exam.
This could easily be followed up with the fantastic resource Writing a feature article. By selecting a topic of their choice, the resource talks them through purpose, audience and format to help their organisation. To finish, you could take students out of their comfort zone with an oratory competition (excellent if you've still got time to do speaking and listening assessments!) We shall be preparing informative speeches using a topic of their choice and the How to write a good speech resource will give us the opportunity for a fun speaking and listening competition amidst all the exam stress! Alternatively if you want to browse our KS4 resource libraries, use the links at the top of the page. |
