In this fascinating resource, A-level students read about the historical changes that have affected the LGBTQ+ community in Spain from the Second Republic to the present day. They translate and summarise information from the texts and and practise converting sentences from the passive voice to the pasiva refleja, past and present, for referring to changes in the law.
Makes a challenging and thought-provoking activity for LGBT+ History Month in February or Pride Month in June.

- Abolición de las leyes liberales de la Segunda República
- 1954: La Ley de Vagos y Maleantes se extiende para incluir a los homosexuales también como indeseables en la sociedad
- 1970: La Ley de Peligrosidad y Rehabilitación Social criminaliza la homosexualidad y persigue a las personas LGTB+
