Topic control and turn-taking in talk

A comprehensive resource that explores topic control and turn-taking in speech. Students are given a number of activities to help them understand, including a discussion on what talk is for, identifying from a list who is most likely to take control of a conversation and creating and annotating a transcript. There is also the opportunity for students to create their own recordings and transcripts.
