Fairy tale writing (with a twist!)

This resource provides plenty of food for thought on the theme of rewriting Little Red Riding Hood. Several examples of different and unusual story starters for this well known traditional tale are presented here for discussion. Children can then choose one of them to write their own version or use the inspiration they provide to write their own from scratch. This is an ideal way for children in upper KS2 to show off their creativity.
