Use this BIDMAS game to help your KS3 students build their maths skills and practise using BIDMAS/BODMAS (order of operations). Great lesson starter or plenary, it also makes a fun maths game for the end of term.

Students create a calculation by rolling a die and deciding where to place the resulting number. They then need to use the correct order of operations to find the answer. The player with the highest answer in each round wins the points!

Browse our collection of BIDMAS teaching resources for more worksheets, quizzes and games for KS3 and KS4.

Rules:

Player one rolls the die and puts the number in a space in round one.  Player one rolls twice more to fill up round one.  Player two then rolls the die to fill up their round one spaces, and so on.  Remember, once a number has been placed, it cannot be moved.

Calculate your answer using BIDMAS.  Repeat until you have completed all of the rounds.
