Area and perimeter odd one out

This KS3 area and perimeter activity sheet asks students to match the nine areas and perimeters given to the eight descriptions of simple 2D shapes: all squares, rectangles and triangles.

The ninth measurement will be left over for students to think up descriptions of shapes that could fit.

There are areas and perimeters with the same value to make the task more challenging.
