Exploring neologisms

This resource includes a fun classroom game based on the rules of Call My Bluff, exploring recent additions to the Oxford English dictionary including words like buzzworthy, vom, food baby and emoji. There is a follow-up task which looks at the process of word formation.

Students then explore some of the neologisms which haven't yet made it into OED such as bromance, numpty and ew, and write their own definition for a word of their choice.
