A differentiated colour-coding resource which looks at the reasons why there was an anti-war movement in America during the Vietnam War. Students categorise information (standard and extension cards are included) and then make a judgement about the main reason the anti-war movement developed. This activity is great for helping students to enhance their understanding of the connections between reasons like the role of media, the role of students and the economic implications of the war for the USA and therefore also helping to develop a strong sense of period. This would be great for GCSE specifications and a good introduction for some A-level courses too.
