Think globally, drink locally
This resource looks and the story of bottled water and whether it is sustainable. Firstly the resource introduces students to the issues of water supply and demand with them completing a map analysis activity. They then look at the life cycle a plastic water bottle takes, with the aim of analysing why people drink it, and how damaging it is for the environment?
Students also consider the impacts access to clean water would have in LICs and have the opportunity to complete a homework activity about a sustainable water company.
