Biology – extended response question practice

This KS4 resource is designed to help students gain high marks when answering six mark questions.

Students are shown a table of forty keywords. Reveal two clues to the question they will be asked so that they can eliminate the keywords that they won't need. The question is then revealed and the next step is to identify the keywords that they will need and to highlight the different keywords e.g, underline processes in red, organisms in green.

They can then use the keywords to write some short statements. They can then use the statements, keywords and mark scheme to write a response to the question.
