Japan's volcanic hazards assessment

This resource focuses on Japan's volcanic hazards. Students complete a number of tasks where they apply their map skills as well showing their understanding of the advantages and disadvantages of living near active volcanoes.  This could be completed as an assessment or as a class or homework task sheet.

Also included is an extension task on tourism in volcanic areas. A levelled mark scheme provides the students with an opportunity to develop and gauge their progress.
