Desktop revision - percentages

Maths desktop revision of foundation GCSE. Examples and explanations are given the green and blue boxes, with revision questions on the right. 

The blue boxes are simpler and demonstrate:

• basic percentages
• converting to and from decimals
• non-calculator methods
• finding the percentage of an amount (using multipliers)
• increasing and decreasing by a percentage (using multipliers)
• profit and loss

The green boxes are more difficult and show:

• finding the original value
• compound interest
