Impacts of deforestation on the Malaysian rainforest

A resource looking at the impacts of deforestation in the Malaysian rainforest. Students read several statements identifying the causes of deforestation, the resources it provides and the local and global impacts of rainforest destruction.

They should classify these statements and then considering the impacts statements sort them into social, economic, political and environmental. Also included are an exam-style question with suggested responses and teaching notes with answers.
