Gender stereotyping in children's texts

Students consider a range of children's story books and using the research of Baker and Freebody, consider whether there are any examples of gendered language in the texts they have investigated. Includes a grid for students to record their findings and compare notes. This resource could also be used as a starting point for language investigations.
