Why was the House of Godwin so powerful?

This resource takes GCSE students through a range of tasks to investigate the power of the Godwin family from the 1040s to the 1060s. Students graph Godwin power at different points, supported by a range of prompts, before analysing the trend in their power and categorising reasons for their successes. Students are then tasked with an 'account' exam-style question on the power of the Godwins.
