A writing frame to support students writing to argue for or against fireworks being on sale to the public. Prompts include:

  • Introduction: students are reminded to state their point of view.
  • Main part: students are given reminders to use topic sentences and counterarguments, as well as some sentence starts to get them going.
  • Conclusion: students are encouraged to summarise their viewpoint, to conclude their written piece.
