The 'Beast from the East'

A resource looking an extreme weather event in the UK using the the 'Beast from the East' as an example. Students complete a card sort categorising task where they colour-code the causes, effects and responses of this event. They then complete a geography skills mapping task where they annotate a map of different impacts using their six-figure grid reference skills.

Also included within the resources are an exam-style question with mark scheme and teaching notes to offer guidance.
