This KS4-5 maths worksheet resource can be used to revise, practise and develop concepts regarding sine and cosine rules. There are three exercises: Exercise 1: The Sine rule Exercise 2: The Cosine rule Exercise 3: A mixture of Sine and Cosine rule questions. There are also questions on the area of a non-right angled triangle.

Triangle KLM represents a farmer’s field. Angles KLM and LKM are 69º and 52º respectively. The side KL is 480 metres.
Find the length of KM. Hence find the area of the farmer’s field.
