An extract from the resource:

Lizzie Norp is the Head of Parks and Recreation in Trowbury and has asked one of her staff, Richard Ungood, to design a new play park for the town with a budget of £11,500. As she is such a good people person and has done several favours for various townspeople, she is able to get the play equipment, benches and shrubbery for free. However, the chippings for the safe ground under or around each piece of equipment, the fencing and gates, plus the turf for the surrounding area all have to be paid for.

When she finally gets the plan (two weeks late), she is dismayed to find that not only is it not drawn accurately or to scale, but that, in spite of some generous discounts, it is horribly over budget. It seems that Richard lied about his qualifications in order to get the job! Your task is to find out how much it costs for the paid items and how much over budget he has gone.
