Students race to escape from this charming croissant-shaped maze by following the words relating to food and drink. There is also the opportunity to review the partitive articles (du, de la, de l' and des) after 'Je mange', and the switch to 'de' in the negative form (Je ne mange pas de ...).

An extract from the worksheet:

Working in pairs, ask your partner what food and drink he/she likes and dislikes. You should read your sentences out loud.

Example: Manges-tu (des frites)? = Do you eat (chips)?

Oui, je mange des frites.           Non, je ne mange pas de frites.

Yes, I eat chips.                        No, I don’t eat chips.
