Hyped up horoscopes

A-level Language students explore the language of horoscopes, focusing on adjectival use, as an introduction to Language investigations. They gather data and consider audience, mode, context, genre and purpose, as well as looking closely at the stylistics of descriptive, evaluative and emotive adjective use. Includes a range of engaging extension tasks.
