News broadcast on Pearl Harbour
A great, independent research activity in which students produce their own news broadcast on the events of the Pearl Harbour attack. They work in groups and take on various roles - a news anchor, an eye witness, Henry Stimson (American secretary of war), Franklin D. Roosevelt and a member of the public. A PowerPoint includes an image for starter analysis and student instructions for the tasks. The resource includes links to British Pathe newsreel footage and other sources of useful information.
