Who were the Empire Builders?

This is a fantastic way to introduce KS3 students to the British Empire! The resource include 30 cards, each is an 'Empire builder' that students adopt. They then complete a series of active learning activities that allow them to see the chronological scope of Empire development, the similarities and differences between the experiences of these people and assess the significance of their influence. Comprehensive teaching notes are included.
