Timeline of the dissolution of the monasteries
KS3/4 students plot the key events in the dissolution of the monasteries on a living graph/timeline. This could be done in small groups on giant timelines or individually. The task gives an overview of the changes experienced during this period, including inspections ordered by Thomas Cromwell, the selling of land previously owned by the Church and the stripping out of valuable resources.
