How did scientists develop the first chemical ‘cures’ for diseases?

An excellent resource to use as part of the GCSE History course - am using it to supplement my daughters main work file and she is enjoying the tasks outlined. The information is clear, well-presented, easy to understand and the tasks are interesting. A very useful resource.
