What made the journey West so difficult?

This resource is a student activity to investigate the difficulties settlers had in making the journey West, during America's Westward migration. Students use primary source material to discover and factorise the difficulties, recording these in a wagon wheel template. Students are guided to consolidate their knowledge in a written task.
