Megan is a former geography teacher with experience working in a variety of secondary school settings teaching KS3, KS4 and KS5 students and as an online private tutor. During her teaching career, she delivered whole-school PSHE and British values initiatives and supported colleagues' professional development in these areas. Megan has a particular interest in supporting students with building numeracy and data literacy skills across the curriculum.

Fiona is a freelance editorial designer who specialises in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, and has been designing resources for Teachit since 2019. With a BA in Linguistics and an MSc in Cognitive Neuroscience, Fiona brings her academic background to her design work, alongside previous editorial design experience in creating and editing puzzles for a daily national newspaper.

Rachel is a former head of English and media studies, with over 20 years’ experience in teaching and learning across KS3, KS4 and KS5. She has an extensive background in resource development, diversity of learning styles and pedagogy, with previous roles in teacher training and mentoring. Rachel has a passion for creating and curating new resources for students and teachers to support the evolution of English teaching and learning.

Will is a Lead Practitioner (Learning and Teaching) in Birmingham, specialising in history, having also worked as an ITT mentor and Subject Leader of history in recent years. He has an MA in Character Education from the Jubilee Centre (University of Birmingham) and a degree in Human, Social and Political Sciences from the University of Cambridge. Within history education, Will has a particular interest in literacy and virtue, and in how these things can work together to educate young people as both historians and citizens.

Languages Consultant
Amy is a former MFL teacher and middle leader with over a decade of classroom experience. Outside her subject, she has worked as an ITT tutor, NPQ assessor and teacher educator. She writes and edits language resources, revision materials, teacher guides and online packages for a variety of educational publishers and works with a number of organisations as an MFL educational consultant. Amy has a BA in European languages and a MA in translation and is CELTA-qualified. She is particularly interested in applying evidence-informed research to subject-specific pedagogy.

Lynne is an experienced primary teacher and English subject leader who has been teaching for over 17 years, largely in KS2, in a variety of schools in Southall, Surrey and Bath. She has also worked for Coram Life Education delivering PSHE sessions throughout Wiltshire. Lynne is a member of SLT and has mentored trainee teachers.

Fiona is a head of geography in Northamptonshire and has 10 years' experience of teaching geography, history and travel and tourism, working with KS3-KS5 students. She holds a BSc Hons from the Open University and a PGCE from Edge Hill University. A former lead practitioner and head of year, Fiona recently completed an NPQLT and she is also currently the co-head of education and outreach for the UK Polar Network.

Fiona is a regular speaker for the Royal Geographical Society and has also spoken at the Geographical Association Conference and TeachMeet Geography Icons. She is also a United Nations Accredited Climate Change Teacher and her key areas of geographical interest are climate change, environmental studies and geology.

David Benjamin is a former head of maths who taught mathematics for 44 years at four different schools in Kent, as well as a secondment as a further maths project coordinator. He is the co-author of 10 books of secondary school maths activities, questions and worked solutions. He has previously developed mathematics software for school networks and added to the On-line Encyclopedia of Integer Sequences. David has a BSc in mathematics and an MSc in pure mathematics and has had articles published in a number of academic journals and websites. He was also featured in The Guardian, discussing his teaching career. David is a long-standing Teachit contributor with over 150 published resources.
