SPaG mat

A learning mat for students to refer to, reminding them of key areas of grammar, spelling and punctuation. Designed to go on desks, you could photocopy and laminate this resource as a SPaG aid for all students.

Aspects of punctuation, grammar and spelling which are included:

• apostrophes
• word classes
• paragraphs
• commas
• sentence types
• variety of sentences
• homophones and commonly confused words.

This resource would be useful alongside any extended writing activity, in any subject area where students are writing at length.
