A resource designed to support students reading longer texts or as a frame for spoken or written narratives, written by speech, language and communication specialists Emela Milne and Victoria Honeybourne.

Alongside a class reader, students can use a single bookmark to keep track of the story. You could instead use a series of bookmarks with a student to track the events over a number of chapters.

Alternatively, use the bookmark to provide a structure for students planning a written or spoken narrative.

The resource also includes a list of teaching tips to support the teaching of narrative texts and links to a CPD article for teachers.
