Hi Elizabeth. Thank you for getting in touch. Whilst we agree it would be ideal to have a range of differentiated comprehensions for each text extract, we took the decision to have one comprehension task per text as a challenging preparation for the SATs for lower key stage 2 pupils. Differentiation is obviously different in every class and for higher attaining children the Upper KS2 pack might be better. For lower attaining children, please do search our site which has a wide range of individual comprehension activities. That said, all the resources within the pack can be edited to suit the needs of your class, if need be, whether that be shorter extracts or simplified questions. We hope the pack provides a starting point for teachers to save time in preparing for activities for their classes. Many thanks.
