Un stylo, un dé
A competitive translation game in which two students race to translate the sentences into French using just one pen, dictionary and dice between them. Rolling a six buys time to start translating on the sheet, but as soon as their partner rolls a six, they get the pen!
Whoever finishes their set of sentences first is the winner. Students can then self or peer assess their translations using the answers provided, to allot points. The short sentences include a range of topics from personal details to weather.

This is excellent, a simple idea, yet something that will work well in the classroom and I know my students will love when I do this with them next week! Thank you!
