Children's writing - 'The Highway Rat'
Students explore an engaging example of children's written language development, using data based on a six-year-old child's description of the picture book The Highway Rat. The resource could be used for exam preparation and revision work, as it includes a helpful template to scaffold students' responses to the data, along with suggested answers to support self or peer marking, and to develop their understanding of how to respond to data in the exams.
