I am a Head of English, author and examiner. I have taught for over twenty years at a number of urban and rural schools. I am passionate about diversity in literature, having written several resources and blogs about the subject. I have also delivered nationwide training on this issue. I have an MA in postcolonial literature and am a member of Nate's Diversity in English working group. I have been contributing to Teachit since 2001.
