A fun resource to encourage students to vary their sentences when writing. Students decide on a story title before rolling a dice to determine which type of sentence to write for the first ten sentences of a story. For example: Score 7 = A sentence beginning with an ‘–ing’ verb (e.g. Looking nervously around her, she quickened her pace.)
