Resource type
Narrative writing
Story writing can be a daunting prospect for children but this collection of story planning sheets and writing frames is there to support children through each stage of the creative writing process.
From reviewing and rewriting traditional tales to resources to develop settings and write character descriptions, our tried and tested English teaching resources include story planning templates, story mountain worksheets, story opening activities, story maps, storyboards and templates. Children will be prompted to consider the four stages of a good story: the beginning, the build-up, the conflict and the resolution.
Everything children need to develop their story ideas and plan their own stories at primary school.
