Prize draw terms and conditions
Introduction
By participating in the prize draw you are agreeing to these prize draw terms and conditions.The prize draw is being run by Teachit, part of Sandbox Learning Limited, and CENTURY Tech Ltd.
Eligibility to Enter
No purchase necessary to enter the prize draw.
The prize draw is open to entrants over 18 years of age. Teachit employees, their families and associates are excluded from the draw.
By entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and that you are eligible to receive any prizes that may be awarded to you.
There is a limit of one entry per person and the prize draw is completely free to enter. No entrant may win more than one prize.
This prize draw is only open to UK residents.
Prize draw entrants must teach at a registered school in the UK.

Entries must be received by 12pm on Friday 15th December. The Promoters accept no responsibility for any entries that are incomplete, illegible, corrupted or fail to reach the Promoters by the relevant closing date for any reason. Proof of posting or sending is not proof of receipt. Automatically generated entries or entries via agents or third parties are invalid and shall not be considered. Entries become the property of the Promoters and are not returned.
The Prize
All valid and correctly completed entries received by the closing date will be entered into a prize draw which will take place within 5 working days of the prize draw closing. The first name drawn at random will be the winner.
The winning prize will be:
- A CENTURY school subscription. Dependent on winner’s preference, either;
- A full year primary subscription
- A single year group subscription to all CENTURY secondary courses
- A Teachit 12 month whole-school subscription
There will be three runner up prizes of a Teachit 12 month department subscription.
The use of specific brands as prizes by CENTURY Tech Ltd does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement of such brands.
The prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable, and no cash alternatives will be provided.
We reserve the right (a) to substitute prizes of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond our control require doing so and (b) in exceptional circumstances to amend or foreclose the promotion without notice
Our decision on any aspect of the competition is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
Winner Announcement
The winner will be notified via the email address provided on Friday 15th, December.
The Promoters will make two attempts to contact the winner via email.
If the winner does not respond to the emails informing them of their win within 14 days of the second email, they forfeit their right to the prize, and the Promoters deserve the right to select and notify a new winner.
Delivery of the Prize
The winner will allow 14 days for the prize to be delivered, otherwise alternative collection or delivery arrangements can be made through mutual agreement.
Data Protection and Publicity
You agree that any personal information that you provide when entering the competition will be used by the Promoters for the purposes of administering the competition and for the other purposes as specified in our Privacy Policy (https://www.teachit.co.uk/terms-and-conditions) and CENTURY Tech's Privacy Policy (https://www.century.tech/terms-of-use-privacy-intellectual-policy/).
All entrants may request information on the winning participant by emailing support@teachit.co.uk.
If requested by Teachit, the winner agrees to release their first name and place of employment to any other prize draw participants.
If you do not want your name and place of employment to be made available in the event that you win, please let us know by emailing support@teachit.co.uk. Please note we are required to make the winner’s details available to the ASA if requested.
Limitation of Liability
Promoters accept no liability for any damage, loss, injury, or disappointment suffered by any entrants as a result of participating in the prize draw or being selected for a prize.
General
The Promoters are Teachit Spaces Bath Northgate House, Upper Borough Walls, Bath, England, BA1 1RG, and CENTURY Tech Ltd, 15 Alfred Place, London, WC1E 7EB
The promoters may disqualify any entrant whose entry does not comply with these terms and conditions (in Promoters’ opinion) or who, in Promoters’ sole determination, has acted in a manner that is fraudulent, dishonest or unjust to other entrants including, without limitation, tampering with the operation of the prize draw, manipulating or rigging votes, hacking, deceiving, cheating or by harassing or threatening other entrants or a representative of Promoters.
Promoters reserve the right, at any time and without prior notice, to cancel the prize draw or amend these terms and conditions.
These terms and conditions are governed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
