From the start of my teaching career, the importance of sharing and collaboration has been clear. Back in 2006, communities like Teachit were emerging online, and it became an excellent place to share good practice, and support both teachers and students in classrooms around the country.

It's always great when students are answering questions and showing their knowledge of your subject, but when they start asking questions about what they're studying it shows they are thinking independently and engaging with the subject in a way I love to see my students doing.
