In my view, the main objective of Mathematics education at school level is to help equip the learner with logical reasoning skills, and then expand these skills into the ability to think latterly and creatively. I endeavour to draw on my students’ prior knowledge, experiences, intuition and common sense to develop arguments that relate directly to the mathematical topic at hand. Understanding of mathematical concepts coupled with active problem solving is the true key to success in Mathematics.
