I live and teach in Devon and really draw on a close relationship with nature for my well- being. I have been teaching English since 1999 and a Head of Department since 2004. Exploring literature with pupils and helping them see texts as a tool to explore their own loves, values and cultures is still what I love about the job. It never gets boring, as each new class and pupil brings something unique to each text.
