What is Hangman?
Hangman is a game in which one player chooses a secret word for other players to guess. They must do so by choosing the correct letters before the stickman is ‘hung’.
How to play the classic Hangman game
Player one starts the game by choosing a secret word and drawing an underline for each letter in the unknown word.
The same player also draws gallows.
Others players take turns guessing a letter in the word. As letters in the word are guessed, Player one writes them above the corresponding underline. For every wrong guess, Player one adds part of a stickman to the gallows. Most frequently, this is drawn in six parts in the order: head, body, left leg, right leg, left arm, right arm.
The aim of the game is for the other players to guess the hidden word before the stickman is ‘hung’.
How to play online Hangman

For every wrong letter chosen, the stickman loses a balloon and moves closer to the ground. Players must correctly guess the hidden word before all 10 balloons pop and the stickman hits the ground.
