This KS3 resource is an excellent activity to carry out as a precursor to the required practical for GCSE. It guides students through making salts form copper oxide and sulfuric acid. The students can carry out the practical and then use the worksheet to summarise it.

In the first task, students add diagrams to the method. The second task involves answering questions about the practical and the reaction. The answers are included.

I used this with Y10 set 2. They did the practical and I set the questions for homework. Thank you.
