Fighting for Civil Rights in the United States – EAL activities

This EAL resource pack introduces learners at KS3 and 4 to four aspects of the civil rights movement (bus boycotts, marches, sit-ins, and legal opposition).
It is suitable for learners at KS3 and 4 who are Developing Competence and at the Competent stage of English language acquisition. It uses jigsaw activities, takes advantage of bilingual dictionaries and includes lots of imagery.
