On est allés en vacances
This resource is designed to enable students to use their knowledge of holiday vocabulary and related grammatical structures to piece together five correct sentences in each section. The completed sentences will give them some models, often using tenses other than the present, to use in their own independent writing.
The sentences are quite complex, so students could work in pairs for support and to discuss the options. Students work from left to right, picking one word/phrase from each column each time to complete the sentence. The sentences are organised into where and when people went on holiday, who with, accommodation, activities and opinions. There is only one correct way to match the sentences and answers are provided.
