This whole class French activity is designed for students to say, hear and translate some sentences in the perfect tense. The sentences use both 'avoir' and 'être' as auxiliary verbs, as well as negative forms. The last student standing will win!
A worksheet is provided to follow on from this activity, with the same sentences to be colour coded and categorised grammatically. There is a reading task to pick out the time phrases before students translate all the sentences into English. Teaching notes and answers are provided.
